In this remote, part-time role, I focused on building and strengthening Maitri Learning's online community and brand through Social Media Digital Marketing and through the creation of an Early Literacy Series. I collaborated with leadership to develop key messages and social media strategies targeting public and private schools, charter schools, homeschools, Montessori institutions, and adult education markets. I also designed and implemented the “Crack the Code” YouTube series, engaging students, educators, and the broader learning community in literacy development. During this remote internship, I conducted research on user interface design, multimedia learning object creation, and their effects on learner cognition and performance while pursuing an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology. I was mentored by Dr. Joe Winslow and worked closely on a cross-functional team with Subject Matter Experts, Dr. Wes Hitt and Mr. Bob Vipperman within the Coastal Carolina Space Program. I designed multimedia learning objects and user interfaces aligned with instructional best practices, contributing to concept meetings, wireframes, storyboards and built a Online Learning prototype. I worked with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines, utilizing tools such as Moodle, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Camtasia, Articulate 360, Storyline, and Rise to develop instructional content.

As a full-time virtual Kindergarten teacher and K-5 Reading Interventionist, I developed instructional content, modules, and courses with a focus on Literacy eLearning using Orton Gillingham methodologies. I designed and implemented online learning experiences across Early Childhood Literacy, Math, Social Studies, and Science, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accessible and equitable learning for all students. I analyzed assessment data to guide live virtual instruction and facilitated asynchronous eLearning courses using various learning management systems. I also represented Low Country Virtual at the Digital Learning Annual Conference and contributed as a guest speaker on the "Please Raise Your Virtual Hand" podcast. I earned certifications in Orton Gillingham and Certification as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist. Additionally, I contributed feedback to content developers at Starfall Education Foundation and created a YouTube video review for Starfall that currently has 31,000 views, Starfall.com - Highly Recommended by the Teacher's Pet.

As a full-time Virtual Kindergarten Teacher, I developed standards-based online curriculum and learning experiences for Early Childhood Literacy, Math, Social Studies, and Science, which were implemented district-wide. Recruited as a online virtual curriculum writer and "District Influencer," I created technology-related curriculum content for social media and district-wide microtrainings. I collaborated with stakeholders to design accessible, equitable learning experiences, analyzed assessment data to guide instruction, and facilitated asynchronous eLearning courses using Canvas and Buzz. Additionally, I developed online support materials, including a YouTube series, to help the learning community understand Early Childhood Benchmark (DIBELS) testing in virtual and in-person settings. I was the First Place Winner in the "Teachers" category for the Horry County Schools Technology Fair in 2021 for my work entitled, Unlocking the Mystery of DIBELS.

As Co-Founder and President of Hearts’ Stories, a non-profit organization, I developed classroom curriculum and funding proposals to support classroom teachers with diverse books, materials, and supplies for classroom interviews.
